![]() This may seem like a ton of work. It's really something that is easy for me because I have an outline that I can refer back to whenever I have a couple of minutes during the day or the weekend. Science Table: My Science table I set up differently every month depending on what we are learning. This month, I set up a brain, a human body and later on I turned it into a five senses table. I included the sand from our sand art lesson for the feel part of the senses and let them write their names and letters in the sand. This ended up with pink and blue sand all over the floor. They loved the table though and visited it frequently, until I called uncle and threw the sand out because I was done cleaning it all up. ![]() Library Center: The library area is changed every month. I add in new books from the book suggestions given in the resource section of Mother Goose Time. I have been in business long enough to have a good portion of the books available in my own personal preschool library. So my cash out put it not very high in this regard anymore. I am absolutely horrible at returning books to the library, so I try and avoid checking them out if I can. But, if you can find the books at your local library I would highly suggest going that route. ![]() I also switch out the toys for toys that go with the theme. This is where the toy box from Mother Goose Times come in. I did not get it for the month of September, but I do plan on ordering them for the month of November. Since I set up the classroom for September for the new children to get use to the rules I decided that it would be best to leave the toys I had up and wait for October to do a mass switch out. Next month I will have pictures of what I did in the recap blog. Well that is it for the September recap. Below is a slide show of all the activities sent to us from Mother Goose Time! Enjoy! Keep Teaching! Ms. Tessie *I receive Mother Goose Time in exchange for an honest review. |
