Perfect Start Learning was founded in 2012 by a dedicated military veteran with a passion for serving the community. Initially launched in Maryland, the organization relocated to California in 2016 due to a military move. The mission of Perfect Start Learning is to provide high-quality education for preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten children. The owner is deeply committed to fostering an enriching learning environment for young children. Families are at the heart of Perfect Start Learning, as the educators understands the importance of education in shaping a child's future. The focus on the Rosamond/Edwards AFB community highlights the owner's desire to uplift and support local families. With a strong foundation in educational excellence, Perfect Start Learning aims to empower children to reach their full potential. The dedication to service extends beyond education, promoting a sense of community and belonging. Perfect Start continues to thrive as a vital resource for families seeking quality early childhood education. Ms. Tessie
Founder & Director
Meet Ms. Tessie, the Founder and Director of Perfect Start Learning. With a bachelor's degree in kindergarten education and a master's in early childhood education she has dedicated her career to advocating for diversity, inclusion, and access to high-quality care and education since transitioning from military service in 2005. Ms. Tessie holds leadership roles in esteemed organizations such as NAFCC, CAAEYC, and NAEYC, and is a proud educator member of the Excellence in ECE commission. Her unwavering commitment to early childhood education reflected in the Perfect Start Learning program and the success of the children she nurtures.

Preschool Teacher
Ms. Sienna, is our dedicated preschool teacher at Perfect Start Learning. Currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in early childhood education, she brings over six years of experience with children in military child development centers. For the past year, Ms. Sienna has infused her passion and commitment into our program, tailoring activities to reflect each child's unique interests and goals. We're proud to have her as an incredible addition to the Perfect Start community!
